S-7 Shock-Resistant Tool Steel

S-7 is a shock-resistant air hardening tool steel.  It exhibits good toughness combined with high impact resistance at relatively high hardness.  Suitable for welding on cold and medium hot working dies

Typical Applications:

Repair and reclamation of S-series Shock resisting tool steels (AISI S-7).  Plastic Injection Molds, Rubber Molds, Slides, High Wear Molds, Blanking, Trimmer, Header and Brake Dies.
